Oscar, I think it’s great that you’re developing GSTREAM. However, as an American of Mexican descent, I am offended by how you stumble and make excuses for your culture. You, my friend are a role model not only for the gay community but for the gay youth of Mexican descent. It’s about Pride….not only for being gay but who you are in totality….to include the Mexican culture!!!! I didnt see the Chaz making excuses or stumbling over being African American…your presentation was disrespectful. I don’t think you intentionally did that but that’s how it came across. “I’m Mexican American” would have been sufficient if you felt the need to put it out there.
You are a role model just by the mere fact that you do what you do and making it public. I will continue to follow your presentations and will make it known to all the gay youth that really need great role models like yourself.
