Well, how can YFT “expand” if its directors are continually selecting people from the exclusive UNT / Feleshia Porter friends circle to be involved with the organization ??

Please know that the Dallas GLBT and Transgender communities are a lot more broad and diverse in number than just a few select folks. To limit that diversity of thought and opinion from the greater community to a select few in the buddy clique is rather contradictory to the 5 year plan that you claim. Furthermore, I believe that this practice does those kids a great disservice because it fosters limited thinking and exclusive faction forming, both of which I am sure you will agree are unhealthy behaviors.

Quite frankly, if YFT wants to “expand”, then perhaps the expansion needs to start with who gets invited to become involved with your organization and who gets to share and educate their experiences with those kids. Perhaps a little more diversity and a little less exclusivity may get YFT on the right track to expansion.
